Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Reader Integrable in All POE Terminals and Controllers

Terminals and controllers equipped with a reader port can also internally integrate a reader with BLE technology.

BLE technology adds two possibilities to the terminals and controllers on which it is connected:

• Use a smartphone for identification instead of a badge
• Use BLE TAGs for automatic detection (hands-free applications, indoor localization, crowd control, etc.)

This internal reader connects to one of the TTL serial ports of the device. It can be installed even if the terminal already has an internal RFID reader.
